I.
Will Be Devoted
a.
By Study 2 Timothy 2:15
.Be diligent to present yourself
approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed,
handling accurately the word of truth. We are to hide Gods
word in our heart
(Psalm 119:11; Joshua 1:8)
b.
By Surrender Romans 12:1-2 Our bodies belong to God; therefore
our bodies should bring glory and honor to God.
c.
By Separation 1 Timothy 5:22 We are to keep ourselves
pure. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 7:1
II.
Will Be Dedicated
a.
Loving God 2 Corinthians 11:24-27 Pauls dedication to God
caused him to accept all these sufferings.
b.
Looking to God Hebrews 12:1-2 We need to keep our eyes on
Christ, looking around us will bring discouragement, but
looking to Him will bring encouragement.
c.
Longing For God Philippians 3:10 Paul had only one desire. and
that was to know God.
III.
Will Be Determined
a.
Testimony Acts 20:24
but I do not consider my life of any
account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, an
the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify
solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
b.
Testing Galatians 6:9 Endure testing by suffering for Christ.
c.
Trials James 5:11 Behold, we count those blessed who
endured.
d.
Temptations James 1:2-3
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when
you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith
produces endurance
IV.
Will Be Detained
There must be a time of waiting before God in prayer (Isaiah 40:31)
a.
Plea to Prayer 1Timothy 2:8 Men everywhere should pray.
b.
Personal Prayer Matthew 6:6 Secret prayer.
c.
Powerful Prayer James 5:16 There is NO limit to the power of
prayer.
d.
Patient Prayer Acts 1 & 2
e.
Prevailing Prayer 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Christians should always
be in the attitude of prayer.
