I TOLD YOU SO!

Luke 2:8-20

Three Groups of People to See First of All…..

1.  The Shepherds – working, doing their job, watching over their flock.  They were minding their own business until an angel showed up and scared them to death!

After the angel told them the good news, his backup choir came n the scene praising God.

So, the first group went and found the second group of people….

2.   Mary, Joseph and Jesus – They found them just as thy angel told them.  I can see the now…… “I told you so?”

3.   And “ALL” (the people) who heard it – these people were amazed at what was told them…

The people of the third group were amazed.

Mary, of the second group, treasured and pondered.

The shepherds of the fist group went away glorifying and praising God.

All ere important as they had been told theses things…..

But, I tell you there is one more group in the passage!

Verse 10 – All the people (us).  The good new of great joy is also for the fourth group – us today.

He is Christ the Lord!  He is alive today and we ought to be saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.”

Of all the thinks He has told us, He may one day say, “I told you so!”
