The Touch of Greatness – 1 Chronicles 4:10

“Oh that Your hand would be with us!”

Having dared to ask God to bless us indeed, and enlarge our territory, we ask now that His hand might be with us….

Let’s talk a little bit about the hand.  (Your hand)

What your hand does:

1. Helps make your living….

2. Feeds you….

3. Sometimes your hands help others….

4. Sometimes your hands hurt others….

5. Sometimes hands don’t work right because they are hurt…

Don’t take for granted the hands that you have.

Now, what about the other hands that you have but can’t see?

These are the Hands of God….”Oh, that Your hand would be with us!!”

1. First of all we are simply clay in the Potter’s Hand…Jeremiah 18:6

2. The hand of God is big enough to take care of us and cover us…Exodus 33:22…covered Moses)

3. The hands that were hurt but still reach out…Psalm 22:16-18

4. Because we have prayed for God’s hand to be with us, he now guides us to accomplish His will and bring Him glory.

If seeking God’s blessings is our ultimate act of worship, and asking to do more

For His is our utmost ambition, then asking for God’s hand upon us is our strategic choice

To sustain and continue the great things that God has begun in our lives.

You can call God’s hand upon you (us) “the touch of greatness.” 

You do not become great; He becomes great through you.

One final thing about God’s hand…

He touched you and me and made us whole.

When His hand is with us, blessings will be ours…Mark 10:16
