Prayer of Jabez – Part Two
God at Work – Living Large for God
A
Plea for More Territory
When Jabez called to God, “Enlarge my
territory-border”, he was looking at his present circumstances and
concluding, “Surely I was born for more than this!”
Then it might have been said like this:
“Everything you’ve put under my care, O Lord, take it, and enlarge
it.”
What has been give to “us”, God wants us o accept
it as a significant opportunity to touch individual’s lives for His
glory. How do we do this…..the other lives?

We move the boundary line – “Operation Jabez”
Step into the water…..think of it as a challenge
and opportunity to reach out a litter bit further. Think of it as
the Divine Appointment as you move out and meet someone else.
As your opportunities expand, your ability and
resources super-naturally increase as well.
Whatever our gifts, education or vocation might
be, our calling is to do God’s work on earth. You live out your
faith for others.
“Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, says he Lord of
hosts”….Zechariah 4:6
Our God specializes in working through normal
people who believe in a supernatural God who will do His work
through them….what He is waiting for is an invitation..
We know that he will do His part; can He trust us
to do ours?
