ISRAEL IN THIS TIME
Isaiah 43:1-13
This section of scripture reveals that God is not
through with Israel.
Verse 1 –
He speaks of their origin: The
Lord that created thee.
God took a sad specimen like old
Jacob, whose name means, “crooked”.
(he was a supplanter; underhanded), and made a
nation out of him.
The first man passed on to you and me a fallen
nature that will never be repaired or reformed, but God has given us
a new nature.
Beginning with Jacob, God created a nation. Then
He redeemed them by blood and power from Egypt and they became
Israel, a prince with God. They belong to God because of creation
and redemption.
Verse 2 –
Relates to Israel but has a spiritual application
for all of God’s children in all times.
God has promised that no circumstance “will over
flow me” (us)
He will take me (us) through.
Verse 3 –
God says in effect, “I used these nation to
discipline you.” I permitted them to treat you as they did, and
know I will judge them.
Proverbs 21:18…The wicked shall be a ransom
for the righteous, and the unfaithful for the upright.
Have you ever wondered why God permitted the
enemy to cross your path and cause you all the trouble he did? He
did it in order to bring you into line and in order to develop you
spiritually.
Verse 4 –
We cannot imagine how much God loves
Israel. They are precious…
Verse 5 & 6 –
God states in clear cut language that He will
re-gather the Nation of Israel. Jeremiah 31:10…Hear the word of
the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off and say,
“He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd
does his flock.”
“Hear The Word.” We are to listen to
Him. Regardless of the world situation, God says He is going to
re-gather Israel.
Verse 10 –
God has no competitor in His
business.
Verse 11 –
Christianity guarantees salvation, no
other religion does that.
Verse 12 –
God is saying, “As long as you will not go into
idolatry or turn to that which will lead you away from Me, I will
bless you.”
”Israel in this time?”……Right in God’s plan and
so are we…. |
